Standard Cylindrical Batteries
Standard cylindrical batteries are broad category of batteries regarding their sizes, chemistries, features etc.
These batteries are widely used for powering all source of devices, toys, instruments etc. and getting the right ones sometimes may be little bit confusing.
We have grouped standard cylindrical batteries into two charts: the most common small cylindrical batteries (like AAA, AA, C etc.) and cylindrical lithium non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries (like CR123A, 18650 and similar).
Here is the cross reference chart of the most common small cylindrical batteries:

Here is our list of the standarad cylindrical batteries, according to the date added or modified:
Lithium 26650 Battery
Lithium 26650 battery is a relatively large and powerful rechargeable 3.2-3.7 V lithium battery used in applications that demand strong and lightweight power sources, like powerful LED flashlights, electric vehicles, cordless tools and appliances, and similar.
Lithium 26650 batteries use various lithium chemistries, ensuring different discharge characteristics. In order to increase the safety of lithium batteries, most 26650 batteries come with the built-in Battery Management System (BMS) that protects the battery from unwanted events.

Alkaline 12V A27 Battery
The alkaline A27 battery is a cylindrical 12V battery commonly used in remote controls for garage door openers, home security alarms, window security sensors, wireless doorbells, ceiling fans, LED flashlights, toys, some dog collars, laser tags, clocks, and similar devices that require relatively high, 12V voltage.
The alkaline A27 battery shares many similarities with a somewhat larger A23 battery, with some devices being able to use both of the batteries, thanks to the plastic battery adapter for the smaller A27 battery.

1/2 AA and 14250 Batteries Equivalents and Replacements
1/2 AA and 14250 batteries are lithium cylindrical batteries commonly used in dog collars, security, and medical applications, wearable electronics, some EDC LED flashlights, computer motherboard batteries, etc.
There are several lithium battery chemistries, including both rechargeable and non-rechargeable types, used in 1/2 AA and 14250 batteries, which may lead to confusion among users.

Best Non-Rechargeable and Rechargeable CR123A Batteries
Lithium 3.0 volts non-rechargeable CR123A batteries are one of the most popular cylindrical battery sizes in the world, used for powering all sorts of devices including LED flashlights, cameras, medical and security devices, toys, remote controllers, etc.
CR123A batteries feature long shelf-life, can provide strong drain currents, have stable output voltage, etc., but they are non-rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable CR123A batteries, often labeled as RCR123A, can be recharged several hundred times, but have somewhat larger voltage and smaller capacity and can't replace CR123A batteries in all devices.
