Standard cylindrical batteries are broad category of batteries regarding their sizes, chemistries, features etc.
These batteries are widely used for powering all source of devices, toys, instruments etc. and getting the right ones sometimes may be little bit confusing.
We have grouped standard cylindrical batteries into two charts: the most common small cylindrical batteries (like AAA, AA, C etc.) and cylindrical lithium non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries (like CR123A, 18650 and similar).
Here is the cross reference chart of the most common small cylindrical batteries:

Here is our list of the standarad cylindrical batteries, according to the date added or modified:
1/2 AA and 14250 batteries are small, cylindrical batteries commonly used in some flashlights, medical instruments, security devices, dog collars, movement monitors, and other applications where relatively small, but reliable battery is required.
1/2 AA and 14250 batteries come in several chemistries, each differing in the nominal voltage, capacity, and few other important details.
A27 battery is standard, non-rechargeable, cylindrical battery, featuring a nominal voltage of 12 volts and is commonly used in remote controls, telecommunication devices, security systems, and similar.
A27 battery is its most common name, but this battery is also known as 27A, A27BP, 8LR732, G27A, GP27A, L828, MN27, etc. battery.
CR123A battery is very popular lithium cylindrical battery commonly used in high drain and standby devices like photo cameras, flashlights, toys and similar.
Non-rechargeable CR123A lithium ion battery offers great capacity, high-drain currents and rather long shelf-life, while rechargeable CR123A or commonly labeled as RCR123A offers large number of charging/discharging cycles combined with moderate capacity, while drain currents depend on the battery design.
4SR44/4LR44 batteries are standard size, small cylindrical batteries, often used in dog collars, photo cameras, toys, laser pointers, pocket LED flashlights, calculators, medical equipment and similar.
These batteries are rather common batteries and most battery manufacturers produce them with various labels, leading to certain confusion, like 4SR44, 4LR44, PX28A, A544, K28A, K28L, V34PX, 28A, 476A, 4A76, 2CR1/3N, 2CR11108 etc.
